The worker is making a visual check. A pressurizer is a structure used in a pressurized water reactor (PWR) to maintain the pressure of water in the primary water circuit. This water circulates from the nuclear reactor (where it is heated) to a set of steam generators (where the heat is used to boil water in a secondary circuit).
