Voigtlander 35mm Vito B film camera, circa 1954


The 35mm Vito B camera was manufactured by the Voigtlander & Sohn company in circa 1954. Constructed of all metal with leather covering for the grip. It was fitted with a coated four-element Color-Skopar 50mm or Lens and mounted in a Prontor-SVS shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/300th of a second. Features include a short movement winding lever, automatic double interlock preventing double exposures or blank frames, a built-in film indicator in the rewind knob that pops out when rewind is needed, speed synchronization for all types of flash, self timer and a small optical view finder.
