Lake Titicaca, Peru - 17 May 2018; Situated at 3,812 metres (12,507 ft) elevation, the beautiful, jewel-like Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable body of water in the world. Straddling the countries of Bolivia and Peru, it is dotted with scenic, often inhabited, islands. Sailing amongst these, often in a traditional reed boat, is a highlight of any trip here.
