After the family removed to Pittsburgh, he leftschool, being then thirteen years of age, and securedemployment in the printing establishment of JosephEichbaum & Company. Young Forsythe first filled thetime-honored position of printers devil, and after learn-ing the trade with that company remained with them forabout eight years in all. Later he worked in variousplaces as a printer, finally becoming associated with theJames McMillen Printing Company, where he passedthrough the different departments and became sales man-ager, a position he held until his present business was.
