Sant Llorenç del Munt massif is located between the Catalan counties of Vallès Occidental and Bages. It belongs to the Catalan pre-coastal mountains. The peaks are the main Montcau ( m) and Mola (1104 m), where the monastery of Sant Llorenç del Munt. Along with the range of Obac up the Parque Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac. Sant Llorenç del Munt from Can Boada (Terrassa) with the monastery on top The Monastery of Sant Llorenç del Munt Romanesque building is the eleventh century. The origins of the building date back to the mid-tenth century, around 958 when it appears the first documentary mention of a house church with altars dedicated to Santa Maria, Sant Miquel and Sant Llorenç, located on top of the mountain .
