Massive Horsa Glider Memorial outside Wolfhese, Gelderland, Netherlands.
The area behind the memorial marks the eastern edge of LZS (landing zine S was a glider landing area), used by the 1st Airlanding Brigade on 17th September 1944. Not clear in the image but this is a massive wooden cut-out of a Horsa glider located on the northern edge of Wolfheze.
