A replica Anglo-Saxon cross overlooking the River Tyne at Jarrow. Carved by Keith Ashford in 1996-7 inspired by Anglo-Saxon crosses circa 700-850AD, and based on the cross at Ruthwell church. Depicts the Lamb of God, Christ giving a blessing, and St Paul and St Anthony breaking bread in the desert. River Tyne and docks to rear.
