Lanyon Quoit dolmen archeological stone monument,
Lanyon Quoit is a dolmen, located 2 miles southeast of Morvah to the north-west of Penzance, Cornwall, England. A dolmen is an archeological stone monument comprising two or more upright stones with a single larger flat stone lying across them. They are found across north-west Europe. They date from the Neolithic Period, also called New Stone Age. The dolmen of Lanyon Quoit collapsed in the 19th century and was rebuilt, so the stones may vary from their original position.
