Baghdad, Iraq, The Imam Ali Hospital counselling center is a psychiatric outpatient clinic located in Sadr City the largest Shia suburb of Baghdad. It is estimated that almost a million people in Sadr City alone is in need of counselling as a result of the conflict and fighting that took place in the neighbourhood. The clinic has a staff of five and only one Doctor (Dr. Haytham). Counselling is new to Iraq and carries much stigma in the society. Many patients come to ask for money and help with physical ailments. The clinic is funded by MSF Holland
