Water feature near the main railway station at Zoetemeer, near The Hague, Netherlands
Zoetemeer, the Netherlands is a large new town built around an old village. It has much in the way of new buildings and modern architecture. There is also a large lake from which the town takes it's name. Zoetemeer in dutch means 'sweet lake' although those that taste it don't always agree.
