Nov. i AntenncE with short stout pectinations swollen towards their terminations and minutely ciliated with one to three long cilia at extremities, palpi short, slight, and porrect, mid and hind legs each with a minute pair of terminal spurs to the tibia. Fore-wing long and rather narrow, the apex and outer margin evenly rounded, vein I single, vein 2 from some way before the end of the cell, vein 3 from close to the end, 4 and 5 from the end, vein 9 gives off 7 and 8, vein 7 given off from 9 nearer the end of cell than 8, vein 10 from before the end of cell, 11 from two thirds the length and anastomosing with vein 12. Hind-wing long and narrow, the apex rather pointed, veins \ a, \ b straight, vein 2 from before the end of cell, vein 3 from just before the end, 4 and 5 from the end, 6 absent, 7 from the upper end of cell, 8 from a little before the end. Type, Z. fuscimar-ginalis. This genus should either be placed at the end of SytitcunincE or commence- ment of Chalcosiince; the antennas are characteristic of the latter, and the anastomosis of veins li and 12 of the fore-wing occur in many CJialcosid ge7iera^ while the absence of veins in the cell of either wing, and vein I of fore-wing not being double, and vein i of hind-wing not being treble, are Syntoinid characters. 267. Zygaanopsis fuscimarginalis. n. sp. cJ Both wings fuscous with the central part of the disc from just. Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page image
