Tree vigorous and productive, young wood greenidi-yel- low. Fruit medium, obovate, inclining to pyriform, with a su- ture on one sidel Skin lemon yellow, with numerous small brown dots, and sometimes a reddish cheek. Stalk rather stout, inserted ob- liquely, under a lip in a very small cavi- ty. Calyx half clos- ed, basin shallow. Flesh white, fine, juicy, melting and vinous. Eipens last of August to middle of September; a very promising pear. The seed. Tea. Theodore Van Mons. Bivort. Thomp. Tree vigorous and productive on pear or quince.
