UTUADO, Puerto Rico – USACE and its contractors restore power to the Martha Lafontaine School, near Utuado, Puerto Rico, May 17. USACE is working as part of the Unified Command, along with the Puerto Rico Power Authority, FEMA and electric industry partners to help the citizens of Puerto Rico recover from damages caused by Hurricane Maria Sept. 20, 2017. USACE is leveraging its resources to urgently and efficiently restore power while also acting as a responsible steward of tax payer funds.
