Digital blood pressure monitor (sphygmomanometer). Automatic blood pressure monitor with digital display. This device is used to measure a patient's blood pressure. The cuff (grey) is placed around the patient's arm and, when the device is activated, the cuff automatically inflates to stop the blood flow in the arm. During controlled deflation of the cuff, the monitor takes a blood pressure reading. Blood pressure is an important measure of health.
