Strip of bobbin lace with infinitely curling ribbon, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Milanese lace. The strip is made or used for superplie. The pattern is formed by an infinitely curling ribbon. A repeat of the pattern can be seen where the ribbon only twists along the upper edge, so that the mesh underneath is not cut through by the ribbon. This creates rectangular blocks, full of branches with incised leaves and flower buds. The twists are held together by a diamond-shaped mesh soil. The ribbon is made in linen with open-worked edges, sporadically there are also recesses in the center
