Construction is underway on John McAslan & Partners’ plans to create a new £22 million campus for Darwen Vale High School in Blackburn, Lancashire, as part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. The project, built by Balfour Beatty, includes the demolition of a series of old buildings to make way for a new three-storey structure that will partially wrap around the original 1930s grammar school building.
