Height, 8 inches. 238—Three Blue and White Plates {Kting- hsi)237 Bordered with a grill in light blue andreserve and adorned within the circle of the bottom with twoyoung women on a bluff at whose edge a banana tree grows. Onthe lower surface of the rim, landscape suggestions. Marked withsix characters. Diameter. 8 inches. 239—Five and White Plates Decorated with various female figures in groups of two and threein indoor and outdoor scenes, within grill borders interruptedby foliate medallions of fruits, flowers anil symbols. Inderneatlithe rim, landscapes and boats. Two marked Kang-hsi and threemarked Clung Una. Diameter. 8 !24()—Eight Octagonal Blue and White Plates (Kang-hti) Decorated in various tones of blue with figures of sages amongthe mountains and by the waterside, and with nun in bouts andfishing, these views occupying the entire interior of the bottom,while the rise and Hare of the rim are painted with landscapeand water compositions, flowers growing amid rocks, and withsmaller figures. Underneath the rim, the flowers of the four sea-sons, and beneath the bottom a square seal within a double ring. THawwter, s fmchn. 241— e and Whitk Dkki- Bow i.
