Hurricane Z5140, a MkXIIa, at the Shoreham Airshow 2007.


Hurricane Z5140 (originally 5711) was built by the Canadian Car Foundry in 1942 and first served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943. In 2005 it became the first Hurricane to return to Malta since the second world war as part of the Merlins over Malta project.
