This is identical with the above, except in the color of the foliage, which is of a beautiful bluish or glaucous color. This graceful climbing Asparagus has to a great extent taken the place of the once popular Smilax in all fine decorations. It posseses the advantage of being much more graceful, its foliage being finer than that of the most delicate Fern, and will last for weeks after being cut ; the whole plant being of a bright cheerful green.
