Eight metal buttons are applied to the front and rear platside. The bracts are from changing paper. The band contains 50 album blades of gold on slice with 270 photos from the years 1863-1898. The album, which belonged to Robert Daniel Crommelin (1841-1907), contains in addition to family photos also recordings of Belgium, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Dutch East Indies, Japan (Deshima), Hong Kong and Nagasaki. The bombing of Shimonoseki (1863-1864) is also covered and there is a special photo of Roma's in Amsterdam from 1879.
