Mr. Teal was born at Arcadia, Ind., in1884. He received his B. S. and C. from Purdue University. Heentered the employ of the Baltimore andOhio in May, 1905 and was , draftsman, transitman on fieldtopographical surveys, railway location,etc., including work on the Magnolia Cut-off in 1913-1914. He was employed by theMissouri-Pacific Railway from June, 1909to August, 1911 in various capacities inthe Engineering Department. In Sep-tember, 19:1 he returned to the Baltitnore and Ohio, remaining with them until hisrecent appointment. He was on theGeneral Managers
