Can't verify this information: A Union Army soldier stops to give a wounded Zouave a sip of water from his canteen in the ruins of the Union camp at Falmouth , Virginia in early 1863. These men were veterans of the Battle Of Fredericksburg in December of 1862. The ruins are from the previous winter most likely.
