The Evzones, sometimes called Evzoni, are the elite light infantry and mountain troops of the Greek army. Today they can be seen every hour on the hours changing the gaurd outside the Parliament at Syntagma Square in Athens. They form the Presidential Gaurd for modern Greece. This is the summer service uniform in use on the mainland.
