Roe deer doe foraging in daylight. Roe deer are browsers and will feed on tree shoots, leaves, herbs, brambles and other woody plants. They typically have bright red-brown fur in summer, fading to a duller shade of brown in winter. Photographed in Dorset, UK in March.
