Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, rather slender, the 2nd joint reaching about to middle of fruns, the i5rd short; frons smooth ; eyes large, round; antenna; simple and somewhat laminate; thorax clothed with scales and hair mixed, tiie pi-othomx without crest, the metathorax with large spreading crest; tibife fringed with long hair above ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the ternien evenly curved, crenulate; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell.
