A charming border plant with rush-like foliage and 18 to 24 inch high racemes of small white lily-like flowers during July and August. 35 cts. each; $ per doz. Arabis (Rock Cress) Alpina. One of the most desirable of the very early spring-flowering plants that is especially adapted for edging and for the rock garden, but does equally well in the border, forming a dense carpet of pure white flowers. Armeria (Sea Pink or Thrift) At''active dwarf plants that will succeed in any soil, forming evergreen tufts i bright green foliage, from which innumerable flowers appear in dense heads, t 1 stiff wiry stems, from 9 to 12 inches high.
