A very dense shaft of rain falling from a Monsoon storm near the White Tank Mountains in southwestern Arizona. This shaft of rain is so dense that it is virtually opaque. This kind of heavy rainfall can also produce what are called Microbursts, which can produce near Hurricane force winds in excess of 60 miles per hour.
