A lesser, or curled, octopus, Eledone Cirrhosa, that was caught in a trawl in British waters and bought from a fish counter in a UK supermarket. This one is unusual in having a forked tentacle which is apprently quite rare. The lesser octopus has a single row of suckers and is found around the British Isles.
