Fig. 108, of the accompanying- illustrations, represents apair of shoes intended to prevent a horse from knocking- itsknees or interfering in front. First level the feet, then make the shoes twice as heavyon the inside as on the outside hut of even thickness. Thenfit the shoes to the feet and dont cut anything- off the in-side wall. Fig. 109 represents my method of shoeing a split foot.
