An honor guard from Hill Air Force Base carries the casket at the funeral of COL Mark Lane Stephensen, whose RF-4C Phantom II aircraft crashed into a hillside while evading SAM missiles over North Vietnam in 1967. Twenty-one years later, the remains of 27 Americans killed in Southeast Asia, including COL Stephensen's, were repatriated by the government of Vietnam.
