Packet of Jelly Babies Berry Mix with natural colours & flavours. They were produced by Bassett's in Sheffield In 1918 as "Peace Babies" to mark the end of World War I. They were originally called "unclaimed babies" and were invented by an Austrian immigrant working at Fryers of Lancashire in 1864.
