Worms, Germany. 24th August 2019. The President of the German and European Showmen’s Unions Albert Ritter addresses the opening ceremony of the Backfischfest 2019. The largest wine and funfair along the river Rhine, the Backfischfest started in Worms with the traditional handing over of power from the Lord Mayor to the mayor of the fishermen’s lea. The ceremony was framed by dances and music.
