Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire Coast, Northumbria, England, UK. Coast protection and cliff stabilisation scheme and project. The coastline is characterised by steep, actively eroding, unstable cliffs. The protection aims at reducing wave attack, causing cliff toe erosion, wave relection causing loss of beach material and the adverse ground conditions on the top of the cliffs.
