Fore wiug purplish rufous; a small white spot at base ; subbasal line represented by a whitish striga from costa and point in cell; antemedial line indistinct, dark, defined on inner side by whitish stri« at costa and inner margin and slight marks in and below cell, oblique, waved, strongly excurved above inner margin ; orbicular small, round, with white annulus defined by black; reniform. with yellowish mark in centre and white points representing upper and lower parts of annulus, defined by black and constricted at middle; postmedial line indistinct, defined ou outer side by some whitish scales, and with white strise at costa and inner margin, strongly bent outwards below costa, excurved to vein 4, then oblique, and with whitish point beyond it on vein 1, some white points beyond it on costa; subterminal line white, interrupted in parts and slightly defined by brown suffusion on inner side, angled outwards at vein 7, excurved at middle and bent outwards to tornus; a terminal series of black points with white points between them at base of cilia. Hind wing grey-brown with a reddish tinge; cilia pale rufous at base, whitish at tips ; the underside greyish, the costal area suffused with rufous, a faint discoidal point and curved postmedial line.
