THE FLOODING AT HARRINGWORTH VIADUCT,NORTHANTS,ON CHRISTMAS EVE. Fields around the Harringworth Viaduct in Northamptonshire were flooded this morning (Mon) after the River Welland broke its magnificent km viaduct looked as though it was crossing a lake as the water spread across surrounding railway viaduct, which has 82 arches, was completed in 1878 and is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain.
