Draw-off tower at Ardingly Reservoir
The draw-off tower at Ardingly reservoir in West Sussex. The reservoir was built in 1978 by damming the river Ouse. It is a 198 acre site and holds 5206 million litres of water when full. It is a popular site for watersports including windsurfing, canoeing, dnghy sailing and powerboating. There is a 3 mile fishing bank, and two birds hides on the east bank for west bank is the private property of the Balcome Eastate but the west south and east banks are public rights of way and bridleways.
