Protesters demonstrate in New York against the Smithsonian Museum on Sunday, December 19, 2010. The museum originally showed a video by the late artist David Wojnarowicz entitled "A Fire In My Belly" which was part of the exhibit "Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture". The institution removed the video after receiving complaints from the Catholic League and conservative politicians. The video depicts images of ants crawling over Jesus on a crucifix. (© Frances M.
