An employee working on the sarcophagus during the broken Roman sarcophagus at the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden is being restored. The meter sandstone box was found in 1930 at Simpelveld in Limburg. Previous research into the bone material has established that the cremated woman was between 35 and 50 years old when she died and had lived a good life without hard labour.
