Phoenix is an activist who helped set up Democracy Village. He has been in court as one of the defendants in the case.
Phoenix is an activist who helped set up the camp and has been in court as one of the defendants in the case. He does not live here but has been working closely with the core activist group. Activists are now outnumbered by homeless people which amounts to about 80% of the residents here. Initially the site was aimed to be alcohol free but now alcoholics and drug addicts make up the majority of people living here.
