The train of Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation has test run in Tainan county near Science Technology Park. The 345-kilometer (215-mile) rail system, linking the capital city Taipei in the north and the southern city of Kaohsiung, is to commence commercial operation on 05, Jan., 2007.
