At each end of the buildingthere is a large double door provided with iron steps and gable ends and the top of the wall over the wire tower have acoping of gray sandstone, giving it a neat appearance. The trolley wire isNo. 0000 grooved section and No. 0000 feeders arc tapped in atintervals. Glass insulators are used for pull-off and strain insula-tors. On the Dayton, Springfield & Urbana Ry. two trolley wiresare used, thereby avoiding switches on the overhead lines. On theColumbus, London & Springfield bracket arms are used atturnouts, the poles being set between the tracks. Power House. The power for this system is furnished from the power housesituated at \tedway, about half way between Columbus andCincinnati and is near the Mad River. This was formerly the siteof an old woolen mill which was run by water power, the old racetaking water from a dam across the river. This race now providesplenty of water for condensing purposes and for boiler feed and thestation is situated close
