Original WW1 era postcard of young lad who is a street vendor, with his handcart selling milk, door to door. Written on his cart is the name of the proprietor, R Morley who was based at 86, Richmond Road with other dairy shop premises in the Richmond Rd area. R. Morley was a dairy farmer. On the front of this handcart is written "Cows kept at Couchmore Farm, Esher". The milk could be refilled into householder's containers. Circa 1913.
Richmond Rd Kingston, Surrey is written on reverse. R. Morley was a dairy farmer. He had several premises in the Richmond Rd area and signs in the shop windows and on front of this handcart state that the "Cows kept at Couchmore Farm, Esher".
