On June 14, 2010, 11 wounded warriors visit Mosul, June 13, as they spend the week turing Iraq through Operation Proper Exit VII, June 12-16. The program provides the opportunity for injured veterans to return to Iraq to visit deployed service members, revisit the sites where they were injured, and to see the overall progress that has been made in country since their deployed service. The goal is to provide closure for their traumatic experience and give them the chance to exit Iraq on their own terms. Eleven wounded warriors returned to Iraq through Operation Proper Exit 292559
