Vintage Leica camera and Kaufmann Posographe.
The Kaufmann Posographe is a pocket sized, mechanical exposure calculator that dates from the nineteen twenties. Sliding pointers around the edge of the instrument are linked inside by a series of articulated arms and by sliding them to fields marked with,for example, the time of day or "State of Sky" one is able to read off suggested shutter speed and aperture values. The field marked "Outdoor Subjects" includes such gems as "Dewy Foliage" and "Large Rock Masses".
