Major General Lewis W. Walt and Major General William J. Van Ryzin display artillery rounds 99,999 and 100,000, which were fired by the 12th Marine Regiment in Vietnam. The commanding officer of the 12th Marines, Colonel J. M. Calender, witnessed the generals firing the rounds from a 105mm howitzer against the Viet Cong.
