A Northern German knightly sword,circa 1300 Heavy,double-edged blade,slightly cracked near the point. The upper two-thirds have narrow fullers and indented St. Andrews' crosses and triple lines decorating both sides at the base of the blade. Straight quillons with lightly tapered reinforced finials. Broad tang. Disk pommel with bevelled edges. Cleaned excavation discovery.
