Consequences of the war; Gli Effetti della Guerra. Allegorical performance on the European continent that is plagued by the thirty-year war. Central is Venus, the goddess of love, who tries to stop her lover Mars, the God of the war, and keep peace. The Furie Alecto tries to pull Mars. Around different personifications, including harmony, plague and famine. In the background left the Temple of Janus with opened door (in Antique Rome the closed door of Janus temple stood symbol for peace and an opened door for war).
