The driving gear picks up oil from the well and throws it in a steadystream into an oil pan on the underside of the crank chamber distribution to bearings is effected through large channels formedin the oil pan, from which the oil flows to the various bearings. Allparts of the compressor are perfectly lubricated, even when the oillevel is below the connecting rods. Many other interesting features of thiscompressor are described in Bulletin 4699.
