Sculpted temple for sitlamata on one of the terrace , near suryakund. The Sun Temple, Modhera, Gujarat, India. Temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun-God, Surya. It was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev of the Solanki dynasty. Prayers are not offered in this temple now. Archaeological Survey of India look after the same.
