MIT amateur radio field day W1MX contesting radio society ARRL microphone ham wireless transmitting operator


Steve Finberg operates W1MX's temporary radio station during the ARRL Field Day MIT Radio Society (W1MX) took part in the ARRL Field Day contest on 6/28/09, setting up a Class A (portable) station on the Student Center steps that ran off a generator and transmitted using temporary antennas, including one strung between the roof of the Student Center and the MIT Chapel.
